Situational Awareness: Storm with potential for lightning strikes in the Northern Lake County area 
Increased fire danger due to lightning pattern associated with the current storm. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING INTO TUESDAY MORNING. Mid-level moisture and a hot unstable atmosphere aid in scattered thunderstorm development early this evening. Abundant lightning combined with little if any rainfall will increase the threat of fire starts across dry vegetation. In addition, gusty erratic thunderstorm winds will create dangerous fire weather conditions for ongoing fires Use caution and immediately report any potential fires.
