Hudson County and the City of Hoboken invite residents to a community meeting on Monday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m. at 14th and Adams Streets to discuss activating space under the 14th Street Viaduct for pickleball. The County seeks public input on a draft proposal to install two temporary pickleball courts with moveable fencing. The fencing would be stored as to not constrain space for scheduled events such as the weekly farmer's market while providing court space on weekdays. The 14th Street Viaduct is the property of Hudson County.
Separately, fencing has been temporarily set up under the 14th Street Viaduct for the County to upgrade lighting and it will be removed this week.
