Flood Advisory until 08:45PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Colorado, including far southwest Montezuma County.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 651 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.7 inches of rain have fallen. - Areas near the intersection of Highways 160 and 41 is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. This includes the following streams and drainages... Mancos River, Tohache Wash, Toh Dahstini Wash, Aztec Wash, San Juan River and Cowboy Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Southwestern Montezuma County - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
