On Wednesday, August 17, 2023 at approximately 1540 hours, the Readington Township Police arrested George G. Furino out of Flemington, NJ for simple assault. Furino assaulted an employee at the Walgreens on Route 22 causing minor injuries and fled the scene prior to police arrival. Furino was taken into custody shortly after he turned himself in at the Readington Townsip Police Department. Furino was later released after being charged with Simple Assault and trespassed from Walgreens.
