**UPDATE** River St & Ann St Reconstruction & Water Main Replacement 
This is an update to the ongoing River St and Ann St Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement project. On Thursday, August 17th beginning at approximately 12:30 pm the water main will be shut down on River Street and adjacent side streets between Main Street and Burnside Avenue to allow the new water main installation across River Street and connection to the existing main on Harvey Street.
Once water is restored, water users may experience a brief change in water color and/or pressure. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm.
It is recommended to avoid this area if all possible. Temporary barricades and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic safely through the work zones. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and flaggers.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
