INCIDENT: Resisting an Officer, Assault with a Deadly Weapon not a Firearm
LOCATION: 11500 block of Primrose Avenue, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Octavio Ruvalcaba Luna, 20-year-old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On August 15, 2023, at about 8:47 p.m., deputies with the Hesperia Police Department responded to the 11500 block of Primrose Avenue in Hesperia for a reported domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted the suspect, Octavio Ruvalcaba Luna, 20-year-old, resident of Hesperia, at the residence. As deputies approached Ruvalcaba Luna, he threw an object at the deputy and did not comply with commands. Ruvalcaba Luna resisted arrest and was eventually taken into custody.
Ruvalcaba Luna was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for PC 69- Resisting Arrest and PC245(A)(1)- Assault with a Deady Weapon not a Firearm.
