1. Weapon Arrest (1626) 00 Block of East Walnut Street, Civic District

Officers conducted a probation search in the listed area and located an illegal assault rifle and several rounds of ammunition. ARRESTED: Malik Miles, 26, and Tarell Palmer, 26, for weapon charges.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1733) 200 Block of East March Lane, Lakeview District

The male victim, 23, was working at an area business when he confronted the suspects, who walked out with stolen merchandise. As the victim attempted to detain the suspects, they got into a vehicle and then accelerated toward the victim, who was able to jump out of the way. SUSPECTS: Black female adult and a juvenile.

3. Resisting Arrest (1843) Venetian Drive and Basilica Drive, Lakeview District

Officers responded to a report of a combative male armed with a knife and nunchaku. As officers contacted the suspect, he walked away and resisted arrest. The suspect was taken to the ground and arrested without further incident. ARRESTED: Raymond Tutwiler, 57, for resisting arrest and weapon charges.

4. Person Shot (1910) Airport Way and Duck Creek Levee, Park District

The male victim, 39, was in the area when he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The suspect was located and arrested. ARRESTED: Doroteo Hernandez, 62, for an assault with a deadly weapon.

5. Person Stabbed (1949) 00 Block of West Main Street, Civic District

The male victim, 53, was in a physical altercation with the suspect. During the altercation, the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the area. The victim declined medical treatment. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

6. Weapons Arrest (2150) Alexandria Place and Hammer Lane, Lakeview District

Officers conducted an enforcement stop and observed a firearm in plain view. Officers detained the occupant and, during a search of the vehicle, located two additional firearms. ARRESTED: Eric McDaniel, 20, Taza Thomas, 18, Dayvon Jones, 21, and Daniel Bautista, 19, for weapons charges.

7. Armed Robbery (2200) 300 Block of Packwood Lane, Valley Oak District

The male victim, 20, was in the area when they brandished handguns and stole his property. No injuries were reported. SUSPECTS: Two black males and two unknown race males.

8. Vehicle Pursuit (2214) Pacific Avenue and March Lane, Lakeview District

Officers observed a motorcyclist driving recklessly. Officers attempted an enforcement stop, though the driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. Officers located the suspect and arrested him without further incident. ARRESTED: Kenneth King, 26, for felony evading and traffic charges.
