The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for LA County related to Hurricane Hilary from Sunday afternoon to Monday evening. Periods of heavy rain and flooding caused by excess rainfall are possible. Stay tuned to the National Weather Service for the most up to date information.
Pre-made sandbags will be available on Friday 8/18 from 8 a.m. - 5p.m. at Hermosa Beach Fire Station 100. A maximum of 10 bags per residence with proof of Hermosa Beach residency.
The City will remain in contact with County and State agencies as storm information develops. Residents may always report after hours/urgent Public Works requests such as sewer & storm drain flooding/overflows by calling non-emergency dispatch at (310) 524-2750.
