Juvenile with a gun arrested at Royal High football game 
On August 18, 2023, just before 9 PM, Officers working the Royal High football game were alerted to several juveniles who appeared to be involved in nefarious activities on campus. SVPD Officers contacted the group and, during their detention, located a 15-year-old resident of Simi Valley with a loaded 9mm handgun w/ 15 round magazine in his waistband. Additional rounds were found in the juvenile's backpack. The juvenile was arrested and booked at Juvenile Hall.
