The nation's largest celebration of Go-Go music returns, and this time to a larger venue and a traditional outdoor concert venue at Fort Dupont Park!
Chuck Brown Day is a celebration of The Godfather of GO-GO's life and the District's rich and original musical history. Relatives of the singer will be present, along with the Chuck Brown Foundation, who will host their annual “Back to School Giveaway” at the park, starting at 1:00 p.m. The event will feature a kid's fun zone, vendors, food trucks, and more. The event is FREE and open to the public.
