SUMMARY:
On Friday, August 18, 2023, at 8:23 p.m., Etiwanda High School hosted a football game. Deputies responded to a large group of juveniles fighting in the street in front of the school.
During the fight, an unknown suspect discharged a firearm, and the juveniles ran from the scene. Deputies located a 16-year-old male juvenile with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The juvenile was tranpsorted to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
This is an ongoing investigation and detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Det.
