FLOOD WATCH in effect for LANCASTER AND MOUNTAIN areas updated earlier start time (Sunday 10am) thru (Monday 10am)
National Weather Service with a faster storm track, the Flood Watch has been updated for earlier start time (Sunday 10am) over Los Angeles County, and earlier end time (Monday 10am) everywhere.
A FLOOD IN EFFECT FOR LOS ANGELES COUNTY SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Los Angeles County.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff from expected heavy rain may result in flooding of creeks, roads, urban areas, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Of particular concern is the Antelope Valley and San Gabriel Mountains, where there is a high threat for significant and dangerous flooding especially on the roads.

- Tropical system Hilary will move over southern California and bring the potential for heavy rain and thunderstorms.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Avoid travel on Sunday into Monday, especially in the mountains and deserts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
