Founders Day 6:00pm to 11:00pm 
The Houston Founders Day annual event is today from 6pm-11pm. Armstrong Road detour is in effect; through traffic is routed up to and around City Hall. ADA parking is available at city hall, all other parking is in the gravel pit past event site. There will be a large fireworks show at end of the event around 10:45pm, so be sure that any pets are secured and sound-reactive people are warned.
