We are still on track to receive excessive rainfall in Bear Valley Springs starting this afternoon (August 20, 2023). Please know that mudslides, rockslides, and flash flooding will likely occur.

Stay Safe - Follow These Precautions:

1. Stay Home: It's recommended to stay off the roadways if you are able. Roads may be treacherous due to mudslides and rockslides.
2. Avoid Standing or Rushing Water: If you are driving, do not drive through standing or rushing water. Standing water may be much deeper than it appears, and rushing water can sweep your vehicle downstream.
3. Thunderstorm Alert: Thunderstorms are likely. Please remain indoors when you hear thunder, and wait at least 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder.
4. Flood Warning Until Monday 5:00 p.m.: Although rainfall will decrease on Monday, a flood warning is still in place due to ground saturation.
