This is an update to the ongoing River St and Ann St Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement project.  On Tuesday, August 22^nd beginning at approximately 10:00 am the contractor will be connecting the water main from Mitchell St to the new water main on River St. Residents on Mitchell St, Huntington Ave, and River St from Ann St to Main St will be without water until approximately 2:00 pm.   

Once water is restored, water users may experience a brief change in water color and/or pressure. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm.

It is recommended to avoid this area if all possible.  Temporary barricades and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic safely through the work zones.  Please exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and flaggers.

The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
