On Monday August 21, 2023, officers from the Simi Valley Special Enforcement Team and Patrol Officers conducted a follow up investigation from Friday night’s Royal High School football game juvenile firearms arrest.  Officers conducted a probation search of a male, 15-year-old Simi Valley High School student’s residence within the city. A loaded 9mm pistol was located during the search that he attempted to conceal from officers. He was taken into custody without incident and booked at Ventura County Juvenile Hall. 

This is the Department’s second arrest of a juvenile in three days involving loaded firearms. The Simi Valley Police Department wants to remind everybody, if you see something, say something.
