The Fall session of the Shorewood Hills Youth Basketball Program is open to Shorewood Hills Elementary School students and elementary-aged Village residents who will be entering 1st-6th grade in Fall 2023. The program will teach the fundamental rules and skills of basketball in a safe, fun, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment. Participants will build skills, strength, and confidence while learning the importance of good sportsmanship, physical fitness, and teamwork. No previous basketball experience is needed.
The Fall session will last six weeks. It will begin the week of September 11, 2023 and will end the week of October 16, 2023.
Each class will meet once per week in the late afternoon at the Shorewood Hills Elementary School outdoor basketball courts, which are located on the south side of the elementary school.
