1. Resisting Arrest (0952) 1600 Block of South Airport Way, Park District

Officers responded to the area on a report of a person armed with a knife and contacted the suspect. The suspect refused to obey the officers’ commands to drop the knife and attempted to flee. One officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Javier Ayala, 49, for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
