* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following counties, Macomb, Oakland and Wayne.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1109 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in areas that received heavy rainfall earlier today, especially southern Macomb and northeast Wayne counties. - Additional rainfall amounts 1 to 2 inches are possible the area as storms continue to develop and move repeatedly over the region. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Warren, Livonia, Troy, Southfield, Taylor, St. Clair Shores, Pontiac, Novi, Romulus, Mount Clemens, New Baltimore, Flat Rock, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit and Canton. - http://www.floodsafety.noaa.gov
