Portions of Route 1 are now open however we are still asking people to avoid the area if possible so crews can work efficiently. Residents in the area of Route 1 between Archie Cannon and Ashland Towne Square will be impacted by the water outage. It is undetermined how long the repair will take.
ROUTE 1 CLOSED - between Berkley Street and Smithtown Road due to a water main break. Traffic detours are in place, please AVOID the area if possible.
