* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following counties, Livingston, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne.
* WHEN...Until 345 PM EDT.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1050 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that between 2 and 7 inches of rain fell early this morning during a prolonged period of training thunderstorm activity. - While additional rainfall into this afternoon will remain spotty, runoff from the earlier torrential rainfall will continue to produce significant runoff and flooding along area streams as well as in low lying flood prone areas. Some road closures can be expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ann Arbor, Livonia, Southfield, Taylor, Novi, Romulus, Monroe, Ypsilanti, Hartland, Flat Rock, Howell, Saline, Brighton, Milford, Milan, Dexter, Dundee, Fowlerville, Pinckney and Carleton. - http://www.floodsafety.noaa.gov
