DETAILS: On Tuesday, at 10:56pm, Officers were sent to a residence in the 6000 block of Hillside. The 2 female victims at this location wanted to report they had been robbed about 5-10minutes earlier at John Stiff Park. They stated three male suspects threatened them with guns and demanded their purses and money. The victims gave what they had and one of them was struck in the face with one of the guns and the suspects left. About 40 minutes later, at 11:40pm, the officers were called back out to John Stiff Park on a second robbery. The male victim said two male suspects put a gun against his cheek and demanded his property. He fought back and the suspects then beat him and took his property. Both robberies are being investigated by the Violent Crimes Unit of the Amarillo Police Department.
