1. Weapons Arrest (1906) Flora Street and Yosemite Street, Civic District

Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a wanted vehicle and took the suspects into custody without incident. During a search of the vehicle, officers located two firearms. ARRESTED: Joshua Nevarez and Raquel Valencia-Contreras, both 21, for weapons charges.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1919) Pacific Avenue and Harding Way, Civic District

The male victim, 32, was driving in the listed area when the suspect followed him and collided with his vehicle several times. No injuries were reported. SUSPECT: Unknown.

3. Attempted Robbery (2010) 2200 Block of East Main Street, Park District

The male victim, 52, and female victim, 42, were working in the area when the suspect entered the business and brandished a handgun. The suspect demanded money and fled on foot shortly after. No loss or injuries were reported. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

4…Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2239) 1600 Block of Sunnyside Avenue, Civic District

The male victim, 51, was near the listed area when he was shot with a BB gun. The victim self-transported to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: There is no suspect information.

5…Resisting Arrest (0052) 1400 Block of Deepwell Drive, Bear Creek District

Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a suspicious person trespassing and located the suspect, who displayed obvious signs of intoxication. As officers attempted to detain the suspect, he resisted arrest and was forced to the ground. The suspect continued to resist arrest and was subsequently taken into custody. ARRESTED: Jaycob Goes, 34, for trespassing, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
