The NWS Alaska Region is notifying the public that some data and services will be unavailable starting Friday, August 25, 2023 around 2:00 pm through Monday August 28, 2023 at 5:00 pm Alaska Daylight Time (AKDT).
NOAA Weather Radio will be OUT for from 2PM Friday afternoon until 5 PM Monday is key communities with Tsunami and other weather risks.

In the event of a Tsunami or significant weather effect, the State Emergency Operations Center will contact each community directly. The SEOC can be contacted 24 hours a day at the 428-7100.
