Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Burglary Suspect

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with a burglary at a victim’s home today, August 24, 2023.
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 1:06 a.m. in the 30 block of Brookdale Avenue. A male suspect was captured on surveillance video in the backyard of the victim’s home. He was also seen moving a grill to gain entry into the rear window. The suspect, described as having a medium brown complexion, was wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans, and tan construction boots
