TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Week of 08/28 - 09/01
Hello!
I wanted to give everyone an update on the road repairs for the upcoming week of 08/28– 09/01.
PSE&G will be in the below listed areas installing new gas main or installing new gas services to homes between 7:00am – 5:00pm (estimated).
Branch Pike Starting at Curtin Rd. to RT-130
N Fork Landing Rd Starting at Pine St to Branch Pike
Riverton Rd Starting at Creekview Dr to Parry Rd
Also, PSE&G has contracted with Asplundh to replace certain telephone poles within Cinnaminson Township over the next couple of months. The poles that are being replaced are marked with a white spray painted “X” on them. After Asplundh installs the new pole next to the existing pole, they will be transferring over the power lines for PSE&G. Then, the cable and phone company will be making a schedule to transfer their lines before the old pole is removed. This process will only briefly impact traffic while they are installing each new pole. Residents will be asked to move their vehicles away from the marked poles during this process. Police will be on scene to assist traffic in safely maneuvering around the work area.
Pioneer Pipe is subcontracted by NJ American Water to continue milling and paving this week on the following streets:
Susan Dr: Will start work on Monday and continue until completed.
Lexington Dr: Will move from Susan Drive later in the week to complete this street.
Hartford Dr: Will move from Susan Drive later in the week to complete this street.
Please take notice of any road closures or traffic cones blocking the streets. If you live on a closed street, police officers will assist you. Do not drive through the cones without an officer directing you-it is a safety hazard for you and the utility workers.
PSE&G has numerous crews in the area continuing to improve gas services for our community. Due to weather conditions and operational needs, the daily plan can shift which causes additional detours and/or road closures without advanced notice. We understand how this can be frustrating but we are here to assist you in navigating throughout our township safely during this project. Please feel free to talk to an officer on any construction location to help guide you around that specific section or call our non-emergency number at 856-829-6666 and ask for an officer to call you back. We will continue to do our best in keeping everyone informed of any upcoming detours or road closures as we are made aware.
