Reminder: As per city ordinance no riding bicycles/electric scooters upon sidewalks. This is to include foot bridges. 
The Asbury Park Police Department is receiving complaints regarding the operation of bicycles and electric scooters upon sidewalks. Please keep in mind that this conduct is in violation of the following city ordinances.
Municipal Ordinance:
3-38.1 (I) - No person shall ride a bicycle on a sidewalk. Nothing in this section shall prevent the use of toy bicycles or children's tricycles on a sidewalk.
3-39.4 (j)(1) - No person shall ride an electric scooter upon a sidewalk.
*The aforementioned are to include pedestrian bridges to and from the city and Sunset Lake.
