Black Bear Sighting - .5 Mile Dyea Road

SPD received a report of a single black bear in the yard of a Dyea Road resident (approx. .5 mile). Bear currently not showing any signs of aggression, this is an advisement of the bear being in the area and a reminder to continue to exercise caution in the Dyea Road area as well as surrounding trail systems and paths.
