**The boil water advisory has been lifted. The water is safe to drink**

The Prince George County Water System is advising residents to use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution.

This precaution is necessary due to a recent disruption of water service. The disruption of service caused areas of the water system to experience low pressure zones, which could make the system susceptible to contamination. To address this problem, we are flushing, disinfecting, and testing the water system.

We will inform you when you no longer need to boil your water. We anticipate resolving the problem in the next 72 hours.
