* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Including the following areas, Anchorage, Matanuska Valley, Susitna Valley and Western Kenai Peninsula. This includes the cities of Anchorage, Eagle River, Indian, Eklutna, Palmer, Wasilla, Sutton, Chickaloon, Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Cooper Landing, Talkeetna, And Willow.
* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - As of 5pm AKDT, between 1.9 and 3 inches of precipitation have fallen in the Talkeetna Mountains and areas north of and including Talkeetna. As a result, watersheds downstream will continue to rise through the evening and may pose a risk of flooding. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along any creeks, streams, or rivers stay alert and be prepared to take action. - Storm drains should be kept clear of debris as much as possible.
