Flood Advisory until 08:00PM Monday 
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central New Mexico, including the following counties, Rio Arriba and Sandoval.
* WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 458 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Abiquiu, Buena Vista and Chili. - This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 337 and 338. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not camp along streams and rivers. Remain alert when hiking in steep, narrow canyons. Know where you are relative to low spots and drainages. Remember, ditches are deadly. A gentle flow of water can become a raging torrent in a few minutes.
