* WHAT...Creek flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central West Virginia, including the following counties, Braxton, Calhoun, Clay and Roane.
* WHEN...Until 130 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Creeks continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from earlier rainfall to work through local drainage systems.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 904 PM EDT, Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. The West Fork of the Little Kanawha River is reported to have exceeded bankfull between the communities of Orma and Chloe, flooding Route 16. - Henry Fork, Beech Fork, Big Sandy Creek, White Oak Run, West Fork Little Kanawha River, Lower Sleith Fork, and Stinson Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
