Suspects Arrested for Multiple Charges After Attempting to Sell a Firearm to Patrons at a Local Business

INCIDENT: PC 459 Burglary, PC 496(a) Possession of Stolen Property, PC 29800(a)(1) Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 182(a)(1) Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, PC 30305(a)(1) Felon in Possession of Ammunition

LOCATION: 11800 Block of Greenbrier Lane, Grand Terrace
                    22900 Block of Arliss Drive, Grand Terrace

SUSPECT(S): Ambrose Haley Marshall, 40-year-old Grand Terrace resident
                        Martin Manuel Osorio, 27-year-old Colton resident 

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: Monday, August 28, 2023, at 11:03 a.m., Grand Terrace deputies Brandon Moore, Joshuan Cobbs, Jordan Jewsbury, Mark Jebbia and Roger Alfaro received a complaint of two subjects attempting to sell a firearm to patrons at a business. Both subjects fled the location but were quickly apprehended by the deputies.The subjects were identified as Ambrose Haley Marshall and Martin Manuel Osorio.

Through investigation it was discovered the firearm was stolen from a residence in Grand Terrace during a burglary. A secondary residence was also identified to have been burglarized by Marshall and Osorio. Marshall and Osorio both conspired to commit the two separate burglaries, and were in possession of stolen property, which was ultimately returned to the rightful owners.

Ambrose Haley Marshall was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime, and felon in possession of ammunition. Martin Manuel Osoria was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime, and felon in possession of a firearm. Marshall and Osorio were booked into the Central Detention Center.
