* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Anson, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Halifax, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Nash, Orange, Richmond, Sampson, Scotland, Stanly, Wake, Wayne and Wilson.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Flooding from what is currently Hurricane Idalia is possible across southern and eastern portions of central North Carolina from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday evening. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are possible. - http://www.floodsafety.noaa.gov
