Mandatory Evacuation for Mobile and Manufactured Homes 
A MANDATORY evacuation has been ordered for those living in mobile or manufactured homes. Please, go to a hotel, stay with friends or family, or go to a shelter. If you do not evacuate, understand that it may take some time before first responders can reach you, as we will not respond once conditions become too dangerous. Alachua County has three shelters open at this time. They are as follows: - Easton Newberry Sports Complex (General Population & Pet Friendly) 24880 NW 16th Avenue Newberry. - MLK Center (General Population & Pet Friendly) 1028 NE 14th Street Gainesville - Alachua County Senior Center (Special Needs) 5701 NW 34th Blvd Gainesville
