Flood Damage Trash Disposal
 
To assist residents in disposing of storm related refuse, the township is providing a dumpster as follows:
 
Where: DPW Yard, 19683 Sterling St., New Boston, MI
When: Wednesday, August 30th, at noon through Tuesday, September 5th
 
 
Acceptable items include:
Furniture, carpeting, household goods, and other belongings that suffered water damage.
                                                           
Items NOT accepted:
Non storm related items, Hazardous materials, appliances and items that require specialized disposal should be handled according to the appropriate guidelines in your Waste Management literature which can be found at www.hurontownship-mi.gov, > Community > Waste Management Information.
                                                                                                                 
Damage Report Survey
Huron Township residents who were impacted by recent heavy rains are encouraged to submit a self-reporting survey to help assess the damage throughout the community.
