The City parking lot located on Memorial Drive between Bangs and Springwood Avenues is now closed for construction of the new Asbury Park Fire Department headquarters. Construction is anticipated to take approximately 16 to 18 months. The southbound New Jersey Transit train platform will remain open and accessible for use during this time. During construction, all access, including ADA access, to the southbound NJ Transit platform will be located on Memorial Drive at the corner of Bangs Avenue. Handicap drop-off/pick up spaces are available on Bangs Avenue in front of Council Chambers.
