SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Chase Bank
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at about 7:50 a.m., deputies assigned to the Morongo Basin/Yucca Valley Station, responded to the 57000 block of 29 Palms Highway, in reference to a drive-thru ATM machine being broken into.
It was determined no money was stolen from the ATM, however the damage done was extensive with an estimate of approximately $75,000 dollars to repair/replace the ATM. No arrest(s) have been made and the investigaion is continuing.
