The Green Bay Police Department has promoted two officers to the rank of detective to serve in the Investigations Division, following approval from the Police and Fire Commission.
- Officer Miranda Walvort promoted to Detective
- 10 Years of Service with the Green Bay Police Department
- Officer Steven Meisner promoted to Detective
- 10 Years of Service with the Green Bay Police Department
“The job of Detective is very important. Detectives are often one of the main points of contact in the criminal justice system for crime victims and their families, and work hard to get justice and closure in complex and challenging cases. Please join me in congratulating our two newest members of the Investigations Division,” said Chief Chris Davis, Green Bay Police Department.
A promotional ceremony was held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Green Bay Police Department.
