Apple Valley Deputies Arrest Suspect After He Broke into a Residence and Threatened the Occupants

LOCATION: 16100 Block of Rancherias Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Osvaldo J Morales Zamora, 28-year-old Male Resident of Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): 58-year-old Male Resident of Apple Valley
23-year-old Male Resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, August 31, 2023, at approximately 3:44 am, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16100 block of Rancherias Road in the Town of Apple Valley to a reported home invasion robbery.
Deputy D. Ramires arrived on scene and found several subjects at the residence. The investigation revealed the suspect, Osvaldo J Morales Zamora, had broken the door to the residence, entered the home, damaged several items inside and threatened the residents.
Morales Zamora was arrested and transported to High Desert Detention Center where he was booked on charges of burglary, vandalism and criminal threats. He is currently being held in lieu of $60,000 bail.
