Los Angeles County Sheriff’s investigators are continuing their investigation into the traffic fatality which occurred on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at approximately 2: 38 p.m., near the 26400 block of Rondell Street in the city of Calabasas.
Preliminary information indicates a vehicle (Party #1) entered the parking lot from Las Virgenes Road and accelerated uncontrollably, colliding with a parked vehicle. The victim (Party #2), who was exiting his parked vehicle, was pinned between both vehicles.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased.
This is an ongoing investigation and there is no additional information at this time.
