It’s back to school time again and that means there will be lots of school buses across America picking up and dropping off students. To ensure their safety, the Cinnaminson Township Police Department will be conducting “Operation Safe Stop.” We will have officers out in force on multiple days and at numerous bus stops in marked and unmarked vehicles making sure our children are safe.
Any driver who passes a stopped school bus may be issued a motor vehicle summons for NJSA 39:4-128.1 (mandatory court appearance) which, if convicted, carries five points and:

To ensure their safety, the Cinnaminson Township Police Department will be conducting “Operation Safe Stop.” We will have officers out in force on multiple days and at numerous bus stops in marked and unmarked vehicles making sure our children are safe.
Any driver who passes a stopped school bus may be issued a motor vehicle summons for NJSA 39:4-128.1 (mandatory court appearance) which, if convicted, carries five points and:
- A fine of not less than $100.00
- Imprisonment for not more than 15 days or community service for 15 days
- or both for the first offense.
