Santa Clara Resident Arrested for Attempted Murder
On Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 p.m., Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the Normandy House Lounge located at 30 Washington St.
Upon arrival, SCPD officers detained a male subject. While conducting their initial investigation, officers learned another subject arrived at a local hospital with multiple stab wounds. That victim was determined to have been assaulted behind the Normandy House Lounge. Further investigation revealed the person initially detained was the suspect in that assault. The suspect was identified as Lorenzo Lopez of Santa Clara, CA. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for attempted murder.
