Subject: Media Alert: Street Closures for the Upcoming Micro-Resurfacing Project

To the City of East Chicago,
We have completed the Crack Sealing portion of the project. And beginning the week of September 18th the Micro-Surfacing application will start. We will post “No Parking’ signs 48 hours prior to work on the scheduled street(s). We will also distribute informational “door hangers”, 48 hours in advance, to notify the residential and business properties that will be directly affected by the Micro-surface application. This project will last approximately 6 weeks, weather permitting. Please be aware of the “No Parking Signs” that will be posted on your streets, please seek parking accommodation so we can complete our operation quickly. The signs will be picked up when it is okay to park along the street again. Listed below are the streets that will be part of this project.
