2023 Hoboken Italian Festival road closures
The 2023 Hoboken Italian Festival will take place on Sinatra Drive from Thursday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Sept. 10.
Sinatra Drive will be closed between Newark and Fourth Streets 24-7.
Please be advised, on Saturday there will be a procession through the streets of Hoboken, which will cause intermittent road closures starting at 12 p.m.
At 9 p.m. on Saturday there will be a firework display along the Hudson River at Pier A Park.
Temporary No Parking signs have been posted and Hoboken Police Officers will assist with detours during festival hours.
There will be access to local parking garages.
Weekly First Street closures to begin Sunday
The Hoboken Office of Emergency Management advises that First Street will be closed to vehicles between Washington and Garden Streets this Sunday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. The road will be closed every Sunday at the same times through Oct. 22 for the Hoboken Business Alliance's "First Street Sundays.”
Hoboken Police Officers will be on hand to assist with traffic control. Drivers are asked to abide by all posted signage.
