Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Robbery Suspects
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the below-pictured suspects, who are wanted for a robbery at a beauty supply store on September 3, 2023
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 12 p.m. at Market Beauty Supply in the 100 block of Market Street. Two Black female suspects entered the store and started taking pairs of earrings without paying for them. When an employee tried to stop them from leaving the store, the suspects punched her in the face and scratched her on the arm.
Suspect #1 has long black hair and was wearing an orange sweatshirt with a hood, a blue head scarf, and black and white checkered pants.
Suspect# 2 has black and green braided hair and was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood and white shorts
