Due to recent theft activity involving vehicles, we want to remind residents to lock their vehicles and secure their keys. Never leave your keys in your vehicle unattended.
When parking your vehicle, do so in well-lit areas. Consider installing visible security cameras outside your home that monitor the area 24/7. While this may not necessarily prevent crime, it is a good deterrent and can be used as an investigative tool by the police department in an attempt to identify those who are committing these types of crimes.
