INCIDENT: PC 496D(A) - Possession of Stolen Vehicle and CVC 4463(A)(1) - Forge/Alter Vehicle Reg Etc.
LOCATION: Race Street and North K Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Heather Jewell, 48-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, September 7, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies contacted Heather Jewell during a traffic enforcement stop near the intersection of Race Street and North K Street in Needles. Through investigation, Jewell was found to be in violation of PC 496D(A) - Possession of Stolen Vehicle and CVC 4463(A)(1) - Forge/Alter Vehicle Registration Etc.
Jewell was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Jewell remains in the custody of the the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000, awaiting a court hearing.
