Narrative:

On September 5, 2023, the Thousand Oaks Police Department’s Directed Enforcement Team conducted a marijuana delivery operation, in an attempt to purchase marijuana from state licensed delivery services operating within the city of Thousand Oaks, but not permitted to do so.  Deputies from the Thousand Oaks Directed Enforcement Unit have cited three delivery drivers and marijuana dispensaries for delivering marijuana products without a permit to the city of Thousand Oaks.

The three businesses that delivered marijuana products to the city of Thousand Oaks when not permitted to do so are as follows:

Divine Wellness Center, 7246 Eton Ave., Canoga Park
Strain Balboa Caregivers, 21627 Devonshire St., Chatsworth
CanEx Delivery, 8127 Slauson Ave., Montebello

The marijuana delivery operation consisted of a controlled order of marijuana by a deputy.  After the order was completed the delivery driver would arrive at a predetermined location in the city of Thousand Oaks.  A marked patrol vehicle would conduct a traffic stop to identify and cite the business for a violation of Thousand Oaks Municipal Code 5-29.06.

Anyone who knows of establishments conducting criminal activity can call the sheriff’s office at (805) 654-9511. People who call can remain anonymous.
