Arts in the Park, Sunday 9/10
Join Main Street Highland Park for the 17th annual Arts in the Park street festival, juried art show, and arts and crafts sale in downtown Highland Park, New Jersey from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m on Raritan Avenue. The festival draws thousands of art enthusiasts and visitors to enjoy artistic offerings, live music and other entertainment, food from local restaurants, children's activities, promotional booths, and much more.
The Youth Art Show @ Arts in the Park, Sunday 9/10

The Borough invites residents and visitors to a September 11th Memorial Event, to take place this Monday, September 11th at 9:00 am at the Highland Park Community Center parking lot, 220 South 6th Avenue.
Talk and exhibit about the Lincoln Highway, Thursday 9/21
Join the Highland Park Historical Commission at 7:00 p.m. at Pino’s North 4th Avenue for an evening of history as they present the captivating history of Highland Park and how its evolution intertwined with the legendary Lincoln Highway.

Mid-Autumn Festival, Saturday 9/30
The Borough looks forward to cosponsoring, with the Highland Park Chinese Association and the Huaxia Chinese School in Edison, a Mid-Autumn Festival on Saturday, September 30th. This traditional Asian holiday event will be held 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.in the Farmers Market Parking Lot and will feature time-honored and contemporary dances, Chinese opera music, martial arts, vendors offering traditional food and snacks, and more. All residents are encouraged to participate.
Free Groceries distribution by H.P. Gives a Hoot, Tuesdays 9/12, 9/19 & 9/26
Highland Park Gives a Hoot offers free groceries to Highland Park families in need of support. Distributions are held every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Zone 6 Teen Center, 600 Benner Street.
Food Pantry Distribution, Thursdays 9/14 & 9/28 & Saturdays 9/16 & 9/30

Bulk pick-up by Appointment
Reminder to residents that Bulk Waste Collection are by appointment and can be scheduled on Wednesdays during the months of September and October. To make an appointment, please call Public Works at 732-247-9379. Each household may request up to two collections per year.
Highland Park Recreation Programs
Highland Park Recreation offers a variety of adult and youth programs. Families that qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible for a 60% discount on all programs offered by the Borough.
